Cardiovascular and Liver Complications of Viral Infections. There are still many knowledge gaps about viral infection-related heart, blood, and liver diseases. These scientific areas include key aspects of the basic mechanisms, treatment, and prevention. This session covers recent cutting edge updates on the treatment and management of HIV, Hepatitis C, and Hepatitis B infections with particular emphasis on co-morbid conditions such as metabolic syndromes, cardiovascular complications and the use of therapeutic antibodies.
